During the
late
afternoon of Wednesday, September 26, 2007, my beloved wife
Elizabeth passed away.
Caused by complications from an injury two weeks earlier, her passing occurred very suddenly and without warning, and was completely unexpected. My life has been forever changed, and I miss her beyond description. Elizabeth was cherished by everyone who knew her. She brought to us all a warm and generous heart, boundless great humor, an ever present smile, fun and goodwill, laughter, compassion, thoughtfulness, sensitivity, sincerity, and trust. She had an endless compassion for animals in-need as well, and provided a loving and comfortable home over the years to many otherwise homeless cats and dogs. But above all else, her greatest interest, pleasure, and passion in life was simply spending time with her family, and providing for us her unconditional love and care. We miss her deeply. Our memories and love for her will never fade. The two photos above were taken during the early morning of May 31, 2007. Glacier Bay, Alaska, is in the background. |
